Where and how should be the room of the worship

According to the architectural principles, worship-room should be located in the north-east corner(Ishan kon). Worship-room is the main part of the building. One must perform one's worship, bhajan-kirtan in north-east corner. The place of worship in the north-east corner(Ishan kon) provides mental peace, pure intellect and sacrament. The man who performs worship should sit in the direction of east or north. He should also keep in mind the direction of the statue of the relevent god. 
The face of the god must be in the east, west and south, but it must not be in the north. The face of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, Indra, Surya and kartikeya may be either in the east or west. But the face of Ganesh, Kuber, Bhairav and Goddess Durga should always be in the south. The face of Hanuman should be in the south-west corner(Nairitya kon). It is prohibited in building the worship-room else where.
